Important Association Notices
Please be aware of the following important information:
  • Please remind guests needing an overnight parking pass to request one, upon entry, from the Guard. For guests entering after 8pm please refer to item 6b of the Visitor Policy.
  • Gate clickers are now available for purchase at the Guardhouse. The Guard can also help you if a clicker is not functioning correctly and needs to be reprogrammed. Please stop by the Guardhouse between the hours of 7am and 8pm for assistance.
  • Door King (Keypad Directory) changes such as changing or adding additional phone numbers and names also need to be made through the Guardhouse. Please request your changes by emailing the Guardhouse; croaguardhouse@gmail.com.
  • General questions regarding Gate Key, such as how to add guests, service providers, and contact information can be now be answered by contacting the Guardhouse.

“IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CROA RESIDENTS, SECOND PHASE OF VEHICLE ACCESS CONTROL”

All Key Pad 4 digit entry codes have been deleted
  • During the hours from 7am-8pm, all people without clickers will have to be checked in by the Security Guards.
  • Those entering before and after these hours will have to use the “KEY PAD” to dial up the phone number of the residence they are going to. When the resident answers, they can press the number 9 on their phone to open the gate, if they choose.
  • Residents can have the Guard add their individual cell phones to the Key Pad. This way if they don’t have a Clicker with them after hours they can use the Key Pad to call their cell phone and press number 9 on their phone to open the gate.

Water Conservation
IMPORTANT CYPRESS RIDGE WATER USERS UPDATE

On April 7, 2017, Governor Jerry Brown issued an executive order lifting the drought emergency for most of the state, while asking Californians to continue using water responsibly and make conservation a way of life. On Friday (June 23, 2017), the Nipomo Mesa Management Area Technical Group released an update that the Nipomo area remains in a severe water shortage condition, as indicated by groundwater data analyzed at key wells in the region. Go to the Golden State Water website for more information. http://www.gswater.com/santa-maria/

Due to local conditions as stated above, the Cypress Ridge water system continues to have mandatory water-use restrictions to achieve a 36% reduction, compared to 2013. Outdoor irrigation is limited to two days per week and must occur before 8 am or after 7 pm, and should not exceed 10 minutes per station.

Watering Days (Even Address) Mon, Thu
Watering Days (Odd Address) Tues, Fri

Cypress Ridge residents are reminded that state law
permanently prohibits the following actions that waste potable water:

  • Hosing off sidewalks, driveways and other hardscapes.
  • Washing a motor vehicle with a hose, unless the hose is fitted with a shut-off nozzle.
  • Operating a fountain or decorative water feature, unless the water is part of a recirculating system.
  • Watering outdoor landscapes in a manner that causes excess runoff, or within 48 hours following measurable precipitation.
